BRMethod®

The Body Ready Method is a holistic approach to preparing your body for pregnancy, childbirth and postnatal recovery. It focuses on alignment and body awareness.

Body Ready Method recognizes that every person is unique, I work with a personal approach to help you and your baby achieve balance in your body. I achieve this by examining your daily life patterns, such as walking, standing, sitting and breathing patterns, and assessing how these affect the posture and function of your body. By addressing the specific needs of your individual body, I provide you with accessible exercises that can often lead to immediate improvement leiden. Everyone has different needs and not everyone needs the same preparation.

Body Ready Method prepares your body for a more efficient delivery and a smoother recovery after delivery. Birth is a physiological process, and we believe that the body is wise. However, in today's society, that wisdom is often lost.

Body Ready Method works from the belief that all aspects of the body are connected and focuses on five important pillars to achieve balance: upper body, core, pelvis, pelvic floor and movement patterns. During pregnancy, attention is often focused only on the pelvis, but BRM recognizes that the root of any problem may arise from another part of the body.

Think of it this way: If there are ten people in a room and one person is doing all the work and feeling overwhelmed, instead of focusing solely on that one person, we can create balance by including the other nine people in the room. to involve.

The Body Ready Method approach can not only alleviate but also prevent physical discomfort and ailments. Those that are usually considered “normal” during pregnancy, such as lower back pain, pelvic pain, tension in the lower abdomen or groin, difficulty breathing, etc. reduce but often occur.
